Are you ready!!!

The Great Down Under Nappy Hunt starts tomorrow morning at 9am AEST. Please remember that this a free competition and it's meant to be fun. Take your time, look around and ask for help via the hint forum only Shane and I put alot of time into the hunt and we really don't like cheats. We aren't paid for our time, all profits go to support the Australian Nappy Network You will be caught and disqualified from this and may be future hunts. Please enter in the spirit of the Hunt. If you have any problems with anything during the hunt, just send us an email or pm. Most of you know where to find me :D

Now back to sewing business. Due to the large number of Sponsors in this hunt, Shane and I have found Cherub's Kiss taking a back seat, so there isn't as much stock as I had hoped to be listed tomorrow. But we will be stocking everyday during the Hunt (bar weekends). I've also listed some semi-customs on OZeBaby to make up for that. Keep an eye on OZeBaby for OOAK, customs and Minky nappies. General stock will be listed on the Cherub's Kiss site.

We will also be running a competiton - just sign up for the newsletter to go in the running to win a Cherub's Kiss Auriel - existing subscribers can enter as well - follow the directions on the home page - but basically it will be send us an email with your name and subscriber email addy and you are in the draw. I'll be giving away 3 nappies altogether.

Below are some photos of Katherine wearing the size 2 Auriel. She wasn't a happy camper cause the dog next door barked and gave her a bit of a scare, but bubbles soon mended that.



This nappy is the divine polyester print PUL available at Fairy Fabrics it was gorgeous to work with, and feels lovely and soft. This one was my tester made especially for Katherine. Also laying at her feet is her beautiful Steiner inspired Knot doll, which are available from Bits for Bots. It's her favourite dolly to take to bed and chew on.




This is Katherine in a black windpro Auriel. Plenty of room for boosting, but still nice and trim to go under those winter clothes.

Pre-release of Cherub's Kiss Auriels

Well the first of the pre-releases will be up at our OZeBaby Store shortly http://www.ozebaby.com.au/auctions.php?VA=1035. Keep an eye out for a handful more OOAK sets - with some special fabrics and dyeing. The fabrics have kindly been supplied to me through www.fairyfabrics.com.au

Whew!

Well it appears that most of the GDUNH stuff is going along well. All buttons etc appear to be up on the Sponsors site. We are still waiting for a handful of prizes to arrive, but those that we do have are overflowing onto the sewing room floor. Some gorgeous, gorgeous prizes, and not just nappies either.

It's a bucket load of work for Shane and I - and a handful of volunteer helpers, who help keep an eye on forums and pack up the prizes, but it is alot of fun for those involved.

Now back to sewing news.

The Killer Whales will have more photos added tonight, but just snippets. Full photos will go up on Monday when the general population will be able to see the new Cherub's Kiss Auriel in full. Newsletter subscribers expect an email over the weekend with full pictures and as always a way to be the first to purchase anything new in the CK range.

There will be a couple of other pre-release ones up for auction/sale at our OZeBaby store next week before the official release at 9am on the 1st March to coincide with the GDUNH.

We will also be giving away a couple of the new Auriels in an email competition. Full details on the site as of 1st March.

Wow what a difference a re-arrangement and tidy makes to clear your head. The sewing room/office is all tidy - rearranged and ready for action.

And I've started a crafty blog http://cherubscraft.blogspot.com/ to document the huge pile of craft/sewing UFO's I need to finish. I'm aiming at finishing 1 item a week.

I'm finishing up some custom orders today and then sending a few more bits and pieces out tomorrow.

I'll have some instock Hemp HoneyBoy! mainly boys designs up on probably Wednesday afternoon on the Cherub's Kiss site.

Keep your eyes peeled on OZeBaby for a gorgeous size 2 girls auction set. And some more sneaky peeks of the Cherub's Kiss Auriel made up into a boys set size 0, which will be pre-released on OZeBaby. So be the first to purchase an Auriel.

A new blog

To place my crafty endeavours on. The craft work I make for friends or for family. A place to showcase my vast array of UFO's lol!! I need to start finishing them off. A work in progress you might say.

Will be back later in the week, after I've finished sewing up Katherine's smocked outfit. It will be the first garment I've made specificially for her, other than her Christening Gown.
