This little bag

Rocks, seriously, it's cute, it's fast to sew and it looks great.

I made the original size from Noodlehead - you can find it here

I made the first one - the red one exactly as stated except I didn't use the 1/2 inch seam allowance, just the width of my foot.  And I only used 2 inches for the squaring of the bottom, I wanted a taller pouch.

The second one I tweaked just a tad. I understitched the zip on the wrong side, just so it didn't get caught in the teeth, cause I wasn't being careful the first time round.

And I thought I'd be clever with the tab pull, but just don't bother, do it as the original lol!!  I spent several frustrating minutes thinking why did you think that was a good idea.

Anyways consensus is I love it - did I say that already, I think they would make wonderful Mother's Day Stall gifts, or just a stash to have on standby to fill with soaps, makeup, bikkies, lego, marbles or whatever.  I think they'd also make awesome project bags in the bigger size - which you can find here

Size 3 Nappies

Yes at long last I'm happy to sell my size 3's - they've been in the testing stage for a long time, not to see if they work, cause they surely do but to just see how wide a range that they fit, which is quite a nice range.

As you can see from this photo they don't look that different, but they are, they will start to fit from approximately 11kg upwards - it's been size tested up to 5yo of age and about 23kg.

The have longer wings and 6 snaps, a nice high rise and more of a bikini cut for those lovely chubby thighs.  If you are currently using the size 2 and they are just a wee bit too snug around those lovely thighs, then this may be the size for you.

Little Acorn Christmas Extravaganza

I'm taking part in the Little Acorn's Market Christmas Extravaganza.

My set consists of a shorts and halter neck top for a 5yo girl - sizing to fit height 110/116cm approximately.  Please email us at angel@cherubskiss.com if you need more details.

The set is made from the CZM 'Tina' Pattern, used with permission.  Denim for the shorts, with a strawberry poplin for the pockets and waistband.  Cute gingham mini piping trims the yoke on the back and a bias crochet edge trim, trims the front pocket.  The shorts are elasticated for ease of movement.

The top is a halterneck with closes with a snap CK closure at the neck and the waist is adjustable due to the ties.  The fabric is the matching strawberry popling and a 100% cotton red and white check.  Rick Rack finishes off the hemline.

It's a cool and crisp outfit, perfectly suited for our hot Australian Summer and would be divine as a Christmas Day Outfit as well.
